This is the opening book of my first series: ALL THE ROADS WE TAKE IN THE NAME OF LOVE. This book is here to remind you that it is okay to love, to feel deeply, to go into everything with all you have. It is the bubble of the hope, colorful, magickal, beautiful and lively.
Fill The Cracks In My Soul With Poetry
You look at me,
Wonder, how can I
Write so much,
Without a break,
Non-stop?
Boy, oh boy,
I,
Fill the cracks
In my soul
With poetry.
This book is my lovesick poetry, it captures the head-over-heels phase of love perfectly, it is my time capsule, always there to remind me that i had loved with all my might, without any fear. This is the first book of the series, it paints you a very beautiful paradise, it makes you smile, it makes you feel hyped up with the love that is oozing from the pale pages. It opens your rib cage a little without much disturbance, inviting you to embrace this beautiful side of love. This book includes beautiful Haiku’s, showing the power of less is more. Reincarnation Of Heartbreaks is a good example of self-doubts, fear fading into self-determination. In-Between The Lines, Hot Chocolate, Haze Red, Tease, Clogged are some of the poems that walk a very fine balance of playing with you sanity and insanity, letting your imagination run wild, adding more fuel to the fire. Kaleidoscope Of My Heart is a personal favorite, this is the masterpiece of being broken and accepting yourself this way, this is one of the poems that will stay with you forever and keep reminding you about itself here and there along the way. Love Lies, Feeding The Devil Within, Cozy In A Coffin are one of the poems that gives you a sneak-peek of the destructive side of love, where lines blur and you begin to lose your way yet stubbornly hope it is not happening to you. Madness Of Mine is one of the poems that had paved the way for Book 10: Rotten Love For Sale.
Heavy-Lifter
Loads of burdens to carry
Do not even belong to me.
Similar lives, different lifetimes.
You are not mine to hold,
In any of them,
More loads to carry,
Heartbreak over heartbreak,
Boy, how heavy can I carry?
Clay
A blue clay I am,
I am yours to mold,
Knead my soul
With your husky voice,
Sing me forgotten, old, love songs,
Soften me in your hands,
Boy, reshape me to
Match your own heart.
Immigrant
Listening to your husky voice,
All these words finding life
Between your lips,
It kills me alive,
It gives me life.
Boy, my star boy,
Do not you ever understand?
You are the voice,
I am muted on paper.
They knew how strong
We would be together….
They exiled me
From your soul.
Cliff Dive
I dove head first
Into the unknown,
Took a leap of faith,
Wondering where the road
Would take me / us.
Boy, oh boy,
I won’t play if you don’t,
If you will try to guard that heart of yours,
Oh boy, we are so doomed in the beginning.
Closure
Trace my tears,
Trace my fears,
Trace my laughter,
Trace my madness.
Between love and fear,
Oh boy,
Someone murdered my soul,
Will you bring me closure?
Clogged
My mind is a clogged drain,
Words are stuck, can’t get out,
My brain is begging for a release,
My hands do not do the trick anymore.
Boy, would you mind
Giving me a hand here?
Pump out all the words out of me,
Lift me up, bring me down
To my blissful release.
HE(ART)
My body is a blank page,
Waiting to be filled with your words.
Write me down,
Write me up all night long.
Boy, your (he)art screams for a release.
Lips-sticky
I am too tired tonight,
Let's not lie to each other.
Your favorite lipstick
Has always been
My taste on your lips,
Mine; the mixture of us, both.
Boy, oh Boy
An amazing collection of passion-fuelled poetry. Cathy captures so much in these pages….at times edgy and raw, at times soft and heartfelt. Many cracks in my soul were filled reading Cathy’s powerful words..
